Statement

My work bridges logic and imagination, creating modular, geometric compositions that invite playful exploration and viewer interaction. Drawing on my background in computer science and early programming, I transform elemental forms—foam cylinders, wooden cubes, and acrylic shapes—into dynamic visual puzzles. My geometric language explores repetition, symmetry, and structure while evoking movement and transformation within static forms.

Early inspirations, including Brazil’s constructivist legacy and my experiences with data systems, inform my systematic yet intuitive approach.

I blend precision with creativity, balancing the stability of modular designs with the potential for reconfiguration. Utilizing materials like transparent acrylic and wooden blocks, my pieces transcend formal constraints, fostering a meditative and playful engagement.

Shadows, color interplay, and compositional balance activate each construction, inviting viewers to reimagine their configurations. My art transforms modular design into a vibrant dialogue, where imagination and constructivism converge in a shared act of creation.

Constructed from industrial materials, each piece encourages manipulation and transformation, creating a participatory experience that transcends the traditional boundaries between art and the observer. I aim to evoke intimacy and reflection through my work, prompting personal introspection and fostering a deeper connection to the art.
